The Pennsylvania Music Educators Association (PMEA) held the 2016 District 5 Honors Band Festival at Westminster College on December 1-3. Students from Beaver, Butler, Lawrence, and Mercer counties had to audition in November to earn a spot in the ensemble.
Neshannock was well represented within the District 5 Honors Band with Katie Parish on trombone, Miranda Thomas on clarinet, and Melissa Srun on clarinet. Their performance was met with a standing ovation!
