Neshannock High School Presents Me and My Girl!
Under the direction of Mr. Michael Cavalier, Neshannock students are preparing to take to the stage for this year’s musical production, Me and My Girl! Be sure to mark your calendars! The musical will be held on March 24th and 25th at 7:30pm, and on March 26th at 2:00pm.
Me and My Girl Synopsis:
This grand old (1938) musical was revived in London in 1984 and came to New York in 1986. The late Viscount Hareford had a youthful, unfortunate marriage – and kept discreetly out of sight was a son and heir, Bill Snibson. The Hareford Hall family is despondent when the family solicitor finds the legitimate heir in the less than desirable Lambeth area of London. When Bill is brought to Hampshire, he is forced to decide if he should fit in with high society and lose his Cockney roots and his girlfriend.
