Junior High School

A Message from the Junior High School Principal

Mrs. Alicia J. Measel

Welcome students, staff, and parents to the 2024-2025 school year.  Once again, I look forward to a new and exciting year in the Neshannock Junior High School.

Our staff will continue to nurture our commitment to providing a caring and academically challenging environment while enabling our students to develop 21st century skills.  Moreover, we are extremely proud of our extraordinary record of student achievement and opportunities for participation in extracurricular activities.

We are approaching our seventh year implementing a positive behavior program, the Be R.E.D. program, encompassing grades 6-8.  The program focuses on being responsible, engaged, and dependable in all settings within the school day.  Since we received state recognition for our efforts in 2023, our goal this year is to implement additional supports in an effort to better serve our students.  The Be R.E.D. program could not have been successful without the support of the Neshannock Township Education Foundation, Neshannock faculty, staff, administration, parents, and community.

Furthermore, our junior high school has a dedicated and ambitious staff that ensures that all students learn lifelong skills.  Our students are respectful, courteous and share an authentic voice in the operation of the school.

I appreciate your involvement, support, and guidance in helping to make all of our students successful.  As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.
